What is Laser Therapy?
Adobe Animal Hospital is very proud to offer Photobiomodulation therapy, also known as Class IV Laser therapy. We have been very impressed with the benefit of this modality since adding it to our practice.
Laser therapy reduces pain and speeds healing with short, painless, non-invasive treatment sessions. Whether your pet is rehabilitating from trauma or injury, healing from wounds, or simply aging, your companion can benefit from the innovative approach.
What Does Laser Therapy Treat?
Conditions treated with photobiomodulation include:
- Post operative pain relief and healing
- Arthritis, soft tissue injuries, and back pain
- Intervertebral disc disease
- Ear infections, skin infections, abscesses and hot spots
- Wounds
- Fractures
- Abdominal pain
How it Works
Relief or improvement is often noticed within hours of treatment depending on the condition and your pet’s unique health status. Depending on your pet’s condition we may recommend a series of treatments two to three times per week for three weeks.
